The Unlikely NGO That
Shows Up Every Time
Born from Conviction, Not Convenience
Ninebee Foundation didn't start with a grant. It started with two people who couldn't look away. An engineering professor-vice principal and an IT engineer who'd worked with Wipro, Cisco, and ISRO — they had every reason to say "someone else will handle it."
They chose otherwise. The name comes from the nine core missions that guide every action. The "bee" reflects what they are: constantly working, community-focused, producing something vital — quietly, without fanfare.
When COVID hit Pune in March 2020 and the roads filled with stranded migrant workers, the Ninebee team — including the founders themselves — drove through the city distributing over 500 hot meals a day. With no open donations. Out of their own savings.
"Astonishingly, the team had never raised any open donations. They had been working selflessly from their savings."

Team Ninebee's cars moved across Kalewadi, Ravet, Hadapsar, Shivajinagar, Kondhwa and Katraj — then expanded to Delhi/NCR. The founders were on the ground themselves, in the middle of a pandemic.
NGO Working with No Salary, No Admin Overhead — Just Results
Multiple print and television coverages have highlighted Ninebee's unique model: a fully volunteer-run organisation where core directors personally fund operations and every rupee goes directly to the community.
